3/29: How do you confuse an English major? Tell them class is being held in the chemistry building. I had never been in this building before in almost four years of college. I felt as if the science students could see through my backpack to the anthology of poetry and a guide to getting books published and know I didn’t belong.
3/30: The Italian restaurant, the view of the waterfront, the secluded table all contribute to the romantic feeling. Nothing, however, is as romantic as having a partner who shares the same values as me and loves talking about them.
3/31: The weather matches my mood. I run an unimportant errand just to get out of the house. I wander slowly through the aisles. I take the long way home.
4/1: My roommate’s hamster is a determined furball. She has spent fifteen minutes trying to chew her way out of her ball. She determined and very crazy. She is also driving me nuts.
4/2: I never stop moving. I went to class, work, then cleaned my bathroom and took out two loads of recycling. After dinner, I moved swiftly through my to-do list of homework. I deserved to watch those two episodes of Scrubs.
4/3: The rain never stopped. Halfway through my shift it came and once it started, it didn’t stop. It made my hair frizzy. It smudged my make-up and made my glasses fog up and my handheld harder to read. But it made the hot shower after work the most heavenly thing ever.
4/4: Sometimes when there aren’t many groceries in the apartment because no one has gone shopping, take-out Chinese food is an excellent idea.
